On the morning of June 30, 2022, the on-site flood control drill for industrial enterprises in the Yellow River Basin of the province was held in Huatai, Yanggu. Shi Yuming, a second level inspector of the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Wang Gang, Deputy Mayor of Liaocheng City, Wei Bin, Director of the Operations Bureau of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Jie Zhichao, Director of the Liaocheng Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Yang Xubo, Deputy Secretary of the Yanggu County Committee and County Mayor, attended the meeting.

The purpose of this drill is to enhance the flood prevention and emergency response capabilities of industrial enterprises along the Yellow River Basin in the province, strengthen their awareness of disaster prevention and avoidance, and minimize the casualties and property losses caused by various emergencies during the flood season. Eight drill subjects were set up, including flood season warning response, discharge of accumulated water in the factory area, and emergency firefighting and disposal of water repellent chemicals.

Wang Wenbo, the commander-in-chief of the drill, chairman and general manager of the company, said, "The string of self flood prevention for enterprises must be tightened. We must fully recognize the situation, consolidate our responsibilities, and resolutely overcome complacency and lucky mentality. As a chemical enterprise, we firmly believe that as long as we establish a safety bottom line thinking, attach great importance to flood prevention safety, and adhere to the prevention concept of 'being prepared but not using, and not being prepared when not available', we will definitely be able to build a 'copper wall and iron wall' for flood prevention work, and ensure the safety of people's lives and property
